With our published prices, a custom website costs from $5,000 for a landing page to $25,000 and up for a web app or SaaS. A one-page site sits at the bottom of that range. A multilingual store or a web app with add-ons sits at the top. This website cost 2026 guide gives our published prices, the rules behind them and five worked examples, so you can check any quote against real numbers.

Every figure below comes from the same catalog our calculator and proposals use. Nothing here is a "starting from" teaser that doubles in the proposal.

## Website cost 2026: the short answer

Price follows scope, and scope has four main parts:

1. **What you need made.** A landing page, a redesign, a company site, a chatbot, a store or a web app.
2. **How big it is.** Sections on a landing page, templates on a site or store, knowledge sources for a chatbot, screens in an app. Each distinct layout is work.
3. **How many languages.** Each locale adds translation handling, QA and URLs.
4. **How fast.** A shorter timeline needs more people at once.

Brand identity, copywriting, CMS setup and SEO migration are optional add-ons. They change the total in fixed steps, not by opaque hourly estimates.

## What moves the price up?

Most of the difference between two quotes for "a website" comes from a few decisions. Make them early and the price stops moving.

- **Size.** A marketing site with 8 templates and one with 25 are different projects. Count unique layouts, not URLs. A blog with 200 posts is still one post template.
- **Languages.** Each extra language adds 12% of the base price plus extra size, rounded to the nearest $50. Example 4 below shows the effect on a real configuration.
- **Content.** If your copy is not ready, writing it becomes part of the project. Copywriting is a fixed $1,800 add-on.
- **Brand.** No logo or a dated one means identity work first. Brand identity is a $3,500 add-on.
- **CMS.** If your team will publish often, CMS setup at $2,000 saves money within months. It is already included in the corporate website.
- **Timeline.** Priority adds 20% and cuts the schedule by about a fifth. Rush adds 40% and cuts it by about a third.

What does not move the price: calls, weekly demos, the revision rounds included in your product, and the QA checklist. Those are part of the work.

## Five worked examples

These are calculated with the same rules as our calculator. Try your own numbers there.

1. **Launch page with extra sections.** Landing page, 12 sections, 1 language, standard. $5,000 base plus 4 extra sections. Total $6,000.
2. **Redesign on a tight date.** Website redesign, 8 templates, SEO migration included, priority timeline. $9,500 base plus 20% for priority. Total $11,400.
3. **New brand and a 10-template company site.** Corporate website, 10 templates, brand identity. $8,500 base, 2 extra templates, $3,500 for identity. Total $12,900.
4. **Multilingual B2B site.** Corporate website, 12 templates, 3 languages, copywriting, CMS setup included. $8,500 base, 4 extra templates, 2 extra languages, $1,800 for copy. Total $14,600.
5. **Support chatbot in two languages.** AI chatbot, 3 knowledge sources, 2 languages, analytics setup. $12,000 base, 1 extra source, the second language, $800 for analytics. Total $15,250.

For stores, the numbers start higher and the trade-offs differ. We cover them in our post on [ecommerce website cost](https://kyvrel.com/blog/ecommerce-website-cost).

![Grid of five project configurations, each showing size, languages and add-ons as blocks of different sizes](https://kyvrel.com/blog/inline/website-cost-2026-2.png)

## Add-ons, languages and timelines

Add-ons have fixed prices in USD:

- Brand identity: $3,500.
- AI assistant added to another product: $4,500.
- UX research: $2,500, included in the web app.
- CMS setup: $2,000, included in the corporate website.
- Copywriting: $1,800.
- SEO migration: $1,500, included in the website redesign.
- Care plan, 3 months: $1,500.
- Accessibility audit: $1,200.
- Analytics setup: $800, included in the online store.

Timelines follow a rule too. Extra size adds a week for each block of extra templates, sections, sources or screens, and every extra language adds a week. The calculator shows the resulting schedule for any configuration.

No project goes below $5,000. If a configuration would come out lower, the floor applies, and the calculator says so.

## Costs to plan after launch

The launch invoice is not the whole cost of a website. A frequent complaint in agency reviews is recurring fees that nobody mentioned. Plan for these:

- **Domain and hosting.** Usually modest for a marketing site. Keep both in your own accounts.
- **CMS subscription.** Some headless CMS tools have free tiers. Larger teams pay monthly per seat.
- **Third-party tools.** Forms, scheduling, email, analytics. Each has its own plan.
- **Care and updates.** Dependencies age and browsers change. Our 3-month care plan covers the first stretch after launch for $1,500.

Ask any vendor for a written list of recurring costs before you sign. If you are comparing this year's numbers with last year's market, our [2025 website pricing guide](https://kyvrel.com/blog/website-cost-2025) covers the same ground for the previous year.
